About Vanessa's Creative Process
Vanessa has developed an engaging choreographic language that focuses on the possibility of the body through experimentation and merging movement, contemporary performing art, and social issues. Her abstract movements are inspired by her life experience. Vanessa strives to promote integration, cultural exchange, and diversity with her work.

Do you work in other mediums other than dance? Any other special talents?
I also work in cultural event organizations, mainly photo exhibitions and music concerts, and as Artistic Adviser, Coordinator and Director of a contemporary dance festival.

What is your most memorable moment as an artist, thus far?
The moment I understood how much the ARTS bring educational power to society.

We’re all physical beings! What’s your favorite part of the body and why?
The arms, because with them you can close, open, and feel the space.

Say what you want to say! Have a quote you live by?
"It always seems impossible until it’s done" - Nelson Mandela
