CIRCUITDEBRIS is a space for interdisciplinarity, radical dance, and community engagement that Mersiha Mesihovic initiated in 2011 to formally conceptualize her collaboration with artists across disciplines. Mesihovic has collaborated with Karen Bernard, Reggie Wilson, and saxophonist/composer James Brandon Lewis. In 2015, she was a dramaturge for Kosoko’s critically praised #negrophobia. Currently, she is developing her movement method M-BODYMENT and teaches at a wide range of institutions internationally. Visnja Krzic is a Serbian-born, New York City-based composer and pianist, former assistant to renowned Balkan musician Goran Bregovic. Ellen Maynard is a Brooklyn based dance artist and a film maker. Jocelyn Gonzales is a technical director of Feet In Two Worlds, and freelance audio producer for the New York Times. circuitdebris.org
